Marketing of worldwide rural internships via Email, Facebook and Twitter campaigns were integrated with website landing pages. The aim of the international campaigns, targeting 18-30 year old agricultural students and young farmers, was to increase applications for paid internships in Australia, Canada, New Zealand, USA and UK. Facebook marketing campaigns integrated with landing pages, clear call to actions and a bespoke sign up form significantly increased (more than doubled), page likes, online applications and telephone enquiries. Farms across the UK were also targeted to increase applications to host a trainee farmer with the national 'Extra Hands' Facebook, email and agricultural forums campaign.
Implemented marketing services were to launch a brand new trade counter offering home improvement products to local builders and DIY enthusiasts. Seasonal mailing, email, radio and press advertising campaigns were used to promote building products and services. Marketing, on a shoe string budget, for Equata horse assisted therapy organisation included establishing a corporate identity and guidelines for online and offline promotion. Writing pursuasive and informative content for their leaflets, posters and their business plan as well as developing a marketing and fundraising strategy. All tactics successfully resulted in national publicity and a grant awarded from The Big Lottery Fund.
A new Facebook Fan Group was created and it now has over 1200 active members. Additional services include photography, public relations, writing for funding bids and raising awareness through the local press and via corporate sponsors.
