Hi, I’m Atim Arden; the Create Sales website is a portfolio of my marketing experience and skills. I’m an MCIM qualified marketer and this website is a record of my journey of continuing professional development with The Chartered Institute of Marketing, to achieving Chartered Marketer status.  This self-built wordpress.org website is a study hobby that keeps me continually learning, testing and implementing marketing tactics and best practice.

My current role, since September 2022, is Member Success Advocate UK at The Gap HQ. With the purpose of ‘advisory, made easy’, I help accountancy and bookkeeping firms accelerate the success of their clients’ businesses.  The Gap HQ is a global SaaS (software as a service) company that provides all the content, training, and support to market, sell, and deliver business advisory services. My previous roles, for service industries, include: Head of Marketing at Youth Employment UK (2021-2022 July); and Digital Marketing Executive at HR Solutions (2017-2021 July).

I’ve been responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies, annual plans and seasonal campaigns across the full marketing mix.  I’ve also created campaigns that are integrated across website development, content management, copywriting, SEO, email marketing, social media, PPC, brand development, events marketing, webinars, videos, awards, sponsorships, partnerships and PR.

My strengths are focused on increasing website traffic to generate desirable sales leads, that lead to more profitable business and increased turnover i.e. “Marketing to Create Sales.”  Through my account management background, I am  highly organised to effectively manage small marketing teams, multiple channels, marketing budgets and in-house and external resources.

My marketing career spans overseeing B2B and B2C campaigns within the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and The Far East.  I’ve worked client-side and for creative agencies managing brands in both the private and public sectors as well as for professional services, retail, manufacturing, education and not-for-profit organisations.

In the UK I’ve managed national campaigns for HR, health and safety, professional and education services; as well as worldwide campaigns for accountancy firms and agricultural internships. In Australia, my marketing and business development efforts helped with the acquisition of corporate relocation projects for PWC (Price Waterhouse merger with Coopers & Lybrand) and the Australian Stock Exchange.

I enjoy unwinding by hiking, teaching yoga and learning new video techniques to develop my YouTube channel, ‘Mind Body and You’. If you haven’t already guessed by the images on my website, I’ve also developed a green thumb as an indoor gardener. So far, and especially due to working from home during the pandemic, I’ve grown my collection to 45 resilient and beautiful indoor plants to tend to. I’m running out of space and rain water, but I have a plan!
